Type: Public Competition

An unfortunately common scenario, an historic church in Chicago was slated for demolition. This competition requested proposals to reprogram the existing church and reinvigorate its community. Our proposal, Domification!, aims to create a community centre that at once offers seemingly familiar activities, all of which are affected by the shape of the space, creating new versions of their old forms. This entry was displayed in the Garland Room of the Chicago Cultural Centre.
