THE NEXT ONE…

It’s a common trope that an Architect’s favourite project is the next one. Its ubiquity makes it no less true.
Every work builds on those before it, so while his head is always devoted to work that’s in front of him, Brian is always keen to learn what’s next.

There are those who have either a good understanding of the process, or they’re willing to jump into the waters with a leap of faith.
Many projects begin this way.
If you’re interested in having the first conversation - to see if the potential of working together would be a good fit, to share your thoughts, and to gain a general view of how the process works, you’re welcome to contact Brian directly by email or telephone.

On the other hand, it’s common for someone to be unfamiliar with what’s involved in the process, what needs to be taken into account, and how to navigate the varying pieces of the puzzle. If you’d like to cement a better grasp on the feasibility of your project, gain a more specific understanding of what is required, and begin establishing a relationship with an architect who is as interested in the work as you are, you’re welcome to request a Work Guidance Meeting.

While a Work Guidance Meeting is a singular event, these meetings are intended to assist those who are specifically interested in the work of this Office, and in the potential of working together.

This is typically about a two-hour meeting, commonly held at the site of the project, that allows you to lay out your ideas, questions, thoughts and constraints for a more in-depth discussion with Brian.  The Office then generates a Work Guidance Report that provides a review of considerations relevant to the work.

This meeting is low on the Owner’s commitment, but is high on information that can be useful to you no matter which step you take next.
